WHAT HAPPENED?
Kelly and Kirby were the only two substitutions that Wiegman used on Saturday when England faced the United States at Wembley, and both picked up injuries in the goalless draw that have forced them to withdraw from the second game of this camp.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
With Lauren Hemp, Lauren James, Ella Toone, Niamh Charles and Maya Le Tissier all also absent from this international window, to lose two more players is a real blow for the Lionesses, especially in attack.

WHAT WIEGMAN SAID
Speaking in her pre-match press conference on Monday, Wiegman said: "Overall, the squad is good. Unfortunately, we have two injuries, Chloe Kelly and Fran Kirby, they will not be available. So we have 23 players that are available with one [training] session to go.
"Unfortunately, they picked [injuries] up during the game. Chloe is into the concussion protocol, she had that knock, and unfortunately, Fran picked up a calf injury.
"It is very disappointing. First of all, for them, and for us too, and of course, for the clubs, that they are not available next weekend."
